We specialize in unique handmade jewelry, created entirely from fruit and seeds found in the Amazon Rainforest by a small group of Colombian women artisans.  Our goal is to create an exotic, environmentally inspired look for you, while empowering these women artisans through sustainable work opportunities and added financial support, that goes beyond fair trade.

IT'S INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY!!!

Carolina Locker

Today we are celebrating the face of the the real "Colombian Girl" behind the scenes, who makes every item, by hand!  She is the reason this jewelry exists, born out of socio-economic disadvantage as a means of survival.  But in the struggle, she has emerged beautiful, courageous, and ALIVE, and this jewelry echoes her story and inner beauty in a genuine and tangible manner. Indeed, it is the same struggle women all over the world endure, and yet emerge victorious, realizing dreams they never thought possible.  These women artisans, just like the jewelry they create, truly are fearfully and wonderfully made.  And we endeavor to help them in their plight, to reveal the incredible jewelry they produce to the rest of the world, allowing them to reap their due reward!

Together we empower them!

Acai, the "Beauty Berry" April 6th, 2014

Carolina Locker

Just in case you thought we were the only ones talking about Acai Berries! :) Apparently we aren't alone, as even Dr. Oz has chimed in on the acai berry, which is described in his blog as the "BEAUTY BERRY."  According to the blog, "In Brazil, they have nicknamed this superfruit the 'Beauty Berry' because it has so many compounds that make the body both feel and look better from the inside out."  Come see how our custom jewelry for sale, much of it made from acai berries, can make you feel beautiful inside and out!  Read  more at http://www.doctoroz.com/blog/lindsey-duncan-nd-cn/so-whats-so-good-about-acai-whole-lot. #DrOz #BeautyBerry #ColombianGirlJewelry

Dallas Market "Total Home & Gift Show" - January 16-19, 2014

Ever expanding, our latest booth at the Dallas Market Center in mid-January...complete with the Colombian Girl model hiding behind the gridwall, after a full day of modeling!

Without a doubt our biggest event to date, we had a blast bringing "jewelry made from fruit" to the Dallas Market in mid-January!  This was our first time offering our collection for wholesale, and it was a real pleasure getting to meet and develop working relationships with a multitude of shops and boutiques located all across the United States.  It's such an exciting time in our company, still in the honeymoon phase, getting to light eyes aglow with fascination when our clients realize beyond the bold artistry of our jewelry, it originates from fruit and seeds found in the Amazon!  What a perfect opportunity to share the history of this jewelry, created by the hands of a small group of Colombian women artisans, that live and work just outside of Bogota!  We are thrilled our collection is continuing to make its way throughout the United States, all the way to both coasts, and we thank the vendors for all their ideas and encouragement.  One particular suggestion in particular really took root -- keep your eyes open for our "unfinished" collection of natural jewelry, sure to touch each of our collections without any kind of added paint or finish!

The "Strawberry Festival" in Crawfordsville, IN - June 14-16, 2013

Carolina Locker

Colombian Girl Jewelry arrived in the midwest, at the "Strawberry Festival" in Indiana, June 2013.

Perhaps not the obvious choice for our next event, having completed multiple events in Dallas, but our unique collection of jewelry was met with a level of enthusiasm in the midwest that easily rivals that of the south!  While we didn't have any jewelry made out of strawberries this time, the Hoosier state was just as happy to see jewelry made from corn, orange peel, and the tagua nut (native to Colombia)!  And surprisingly, men and children were drawn to the jewelry as much as women, always posing the same question, "Can I eat it?"  Sorry guys, all our jewelry remains non-edible to humans at this point, but don't tell that to monkeys in the Amazon -- the acai berries in many of our items remain on their list of favorite foods!
