Proud to be an American!

Thank you America for life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.  May God bless America!

Thank you America for life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.  May God bless America!

Today we are thankful to be an American based company, where the dream to start a business and use it to help others, is still alive and thriving.  We are thankful for the millions of brave man and women that guard our shores and continue to fight today, to keep us safe and free.  Today we are thankful for our many customers, who live in a society that allows them to purchase whatever goods and services they so please, and in doing so, allow small businesses like us to expand and improve our products.  We are thankful for the little things, hamburgers and swimming pools, corn on the cob and sparklers, that make this day special ... may we never forget what Independence Day really means, and may we always fight to end tyranny and injustice, on our land and abroad.  May God bless America!

Lets Celebrate Mother's Day!

We are planning a big Mother's Day celebration on May 23, back in Bogota, Colombia with our team of women artisans! The majority of our artisans just so happen to be mothers. Because of you, opportunities to celebrate these artisans are possible!

Now we just need your opinion on how we should celebrate them. Please respond to this post telling us which option you would like to see us put into action, and we'll choose the most popular choice! And of course, we'll post pictures showing the final outcome (we guarantee, you'll see a bunch of smiles on our Colombian moms' faces). Here are the options we are considering:

a) Another trip out of the city, to relax and let their hair down
b) A bonus, allowing us to provide them with groceries, including a party with food, music, and dancing (in Colombia, it's not a party without music and dancing!)
c) Gifts, like kitchen appliances
d) A day at the salon
e) Other ... what other ideas do you have?

Lets make this happen, together!

Home Sweet Home...February 11, 2014

Two generations of "Colombian Girls"...we spent the morning with "Mori," one of the Colombian women artisans that helps produce our collection.  Over the next few weeks, we will help you get to know Mori better, as well as several of the other women artisans, that dedicate themselves to producing works of art through jewelry!

We just arrived in Bogota, Colombia and have already met with the 18 Colombian women artisans that produce our jewelry!  We shared with them directly the impact they are having on other women's lives in the states, through their all natural jewelry, as well as their story of devotion to this very special craft.  They were both fascinated and humbled by the prospect that other women in an entirely different country value them, what they're doing, and their collection!  It is truly an honor for us to be able to share in the creation of this unique relationship, witness firsthand how it is changing women's lives in the United States, and just as much, here in Colombia.

We are about to embark on a few weeks of intense work with these Colombian women artisans, to further refine their products, better understand their needs and how we can meet them, and deepen this friendship.  All of this would not have been possible had it not been for you, our customer, and your support of these women and their organic collection of jewelry!  And we THANK YOU, from the bottom of our hearts!

Dallas Market "Total Home & Gift Show" - January 16-19, 2014

Ever expanding, our latest booth at the Dallas Market Center in mid-January...complete with the Colombian Girl model hiding behind the gridwall, after a full day of modeling!

Without a doubt our biggest event to date, we had a blast bringing "jewelry made from fruit" to the Dallas Market in mid-January!  This was our first time offering our collection for wholesale, and it was a real pleasure getting to meet and develop working relationships with a multitude of shops and boutiques located all across the United States.  It's such an exciting time in our company, still in the honeymoon phase, getting to light eyes aglow with fascination when our clients realize beyond the bold artistry of our jewelry, it originates from fruit and seeds found in the Amazon!  What a perfect opportunity to share the history of this jewelry, created by the hands of a small group of Colombian women artisans, that live and work just outside of Bogota!  We are thrilled our collection is continuing to make its way throughout the United States, all the way to both coasts, and we thank the vendors for all their ideas and encouragement.  One particular suggestion in particular really took root -- keep your eyes open for our "unfinished" collection of natural jewelry, sure to touch each of our collections without any kind of added paint or finish!
